Well, after a stellar year of hype and incredible releases for the gaming industry, we arrived at The Game Awards 2017. No surprises that one of the biggest games of the year Zelda: Breath of the Wild triumphed with two big awards, the grand acolade “Game Of The Year” as well as “Best Action/Adventure”. Sweeping aside its brother in arms, Super Mario Odyssey had to settle for “Best Family Game” and Cuphead’s unique and high quality visuals earned it “Best Art Direction”. While Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus had representation across numerous categories, it awarded gold for Bethesda in the “Best Action Game” category. The full list of the award winners can be found here on the The Game Awards 2017 website.
