Destiny 2’s first expansion, Curse of Osiris, marks the start of Season 2 for the game and is now available (from Dec 5th 6pm GMT) bringing forth new playable story, raid and PVP content on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Not only is there now Mercury to explore, but new story missions, strikes, a new public event, crucible maps, and more. For the majority of the level maxed player base you’ll have a new limit to hit as well as acquiring new Curse of Osiris weapons and faction gear.

From the official description: “The Vex are on the march, and our only hope to stop them may lie with Osiris, the notorious heretic and most powerful Warlock in the history of the Last City. On your quest to find him, you’ll meet new characters, explore new places, tackle new challenges, and earn some sweet new loot.”

Those who don’t purchase the expansion will still receive a large update to the game, which firstly for consoles will upgrade resolutions to 4K and adaptive 4K. Other changes include increased damage to bosses from super abilities, increased rate of legendary item drops from public events, a host of weapon stat changes and countless bug fixes in general.
